Vulnerability to Flooding

Initial assessment of the vulnerability of each site to coastal flooding has been made on the basis of the EA flood risk mapping. This is recognised to be a first estimate of flood risk and is expected to be improved with time. It is anticipated that the vulnerability index will be refined as a result of assessments made during the course of this programme.
