Wave data are measured using a Datawell Directional WaveRider Mk III buoy. The buoy was deployed on 22 June 2009, at which time the magnetic declination at the site was 3.2° west, changing by 0.15° east per year.
The shore station is kindly hosted by Looe Coastguard station
Wave Buoy back online, missing data will be recovered at next scheduled service April 2019. Met data logger not communicating, and is being investigated.
