Map Viewer and Data Catalogue

The Map Viewer enables users to visualise online the aerial photography, swath bathymetry and other coastal data such as Digital Terrain Models and sediment distribution maps. The Data Catalogue is a searchable database of coastal data collected by the Regional Coastal Monitoring Programmes. Most data is now available for download under the Open Government Licence. The OGL data available for each Regional Coastal Monitoring Programme is shown here.

For data downloaded under the Open Government Licence, the copyright and acknowledgement to be used is given in the accompanying metadata file. For non-OGL data please use the citation "Image/Data courtesy of the Channel Coastal Observatory" in any publication or report using data from this source.
